My work grew from the life
I have lived.

I have spent much of my life learning how to remain present—to people, animals, uncertainty, loss, possibility, and the parts of life that do not offer easy answers.

Today, I bring relational presence, practical wisdom, and decades of lived and professional experience to people navigating life and business decisions, personal or spiritual transformation, meaningful projects, and the care of animals they love.

A life shaped by relationship, change, and becoming.

My path has moved through parenting, leadership, entrepreneurship, spiritual searching, caring for animals, and walking alongside people during difficult seasons.

It has also been shaped by loss, chronic pain, mental-health challenges, spiritual transformation, and a near-death experience. These experiences did not give me answers for other people. They taught me how to listen beneath the surface, remain grounded when life becomes uncertain, and honor each person’s way of making meaning. Learning to integrate profound experiences into everyday life—and accompanying others as they do the same—has become an important part of my work.

I have come to understand care not as a single profession, but as a way of meeting life. Whether I am sitting with someone in transition, caring for a beloved animal, facilitating a gathering, or helping visions take form, the foundation is the same: presence first.

What I bring has been practiced, lived, and
continually shaped.

My perspective comes from formal roles and training, but also from sustained responsibility,
service, hardship, relationship, grace, and the willingness to keep learning.

Business, leadership & creative work

Decades of entrepreneurship, organizational leadership, financial management, marketing, consulting, technology implementation, and website strategy. Recognized as the Society of American Florists’ 2003 Marketer of the Year. This experience now informs my work with entrepreneurs, leaders, and others sorting through complexity, competing priorities, and the personal realities beneath professional decisions.

Military training & leadership

Nine years of service in the Air National Guard—five years enlisted, advancing to Staff Sergeant, followed by four years as a commissioned officer, reaching First Lieutenant. This experience shaped my understanding of responsibility, preparation, teamwork, and leading with steadiness in service of something larger than oneself.

Community leadership & mentorship

Years of service through youth coaching, referee instruction, non-profit administration, community leadership, and seven years as a Big Brother in Boston and the San Francisco Bay Area. These roles taught me to meet people where they are, encourage growth without controlling it, and combine clear guidance with patience, fairness, and care.

Facilitation, peer support & spiritual care

Ordained ministry and ongoing service as an IANDS Sharing Group facilitator and moderator, along with co-hosting healing circles through Healing Circles Global. My preparation also includes peer-support and co-counselling training, Reiki I and II, and continuing formation in death, dying, grief, and spiritual care. These experiences have deepened my ability to create grounded, compassionate spaces where people can speak openly, listen inwardly, and make meaning without having someone else’s interpretation imposed upon them.

Lived experience of challenge & transformation

More than four decades of living with mental-health challenges, together with experiences of grief, chronic pain, major surgery, physical recovery, spiritual transformation, and a near-death experience. These experiences help me remain present with complexity without reducing it to a diagnosis or easy answer. They have taught me that insight becomes meaningful when it can be integrated compassionately into relationships, choices, work, and daily life.

Animal care, homes & trust

More than two years of full-time house and pet sitting, with 57+ five-star reviews and experience supporting senior animals, special-needs routines, medications, changing circumstances, and the bond between animals and their people. Living in another person’s home while caring for a beloved animal requires attentiveness, adaptability, sound judgment, and trust. This experience has shaped my relationship-based approach to pet care and my growing focus on helping animals and their people through transitions.

Education & continuing formation

Coursework in Business Management and Finance, professional certifications, military education and leadership training, and continuing study across spiritual care, mental health, facilitation, technology, and human development.
I approach education as an ongoing practice—not simply as the accumulation of credentials, but as a way to develop the understanding, discipline, and practical tools needed to serve people responsibly and well.

The opening begins with meeting what is here.

Presence before answers

People often need to be fully heard before they need direction. Listening creates the space where clarity can emerge.

The whole life belongs

Practical realities, emotions, relationships, intuition, spirituality, and the body all belong in an honest conversation.

Your life remains yours

I offer reflection, experience, and perspective. The meaning you make and the direction you choose remain genuinely your own.

Learning, serving, and walking alongside others.

My work is informed by ongoing formation, lived experience, facilitation, and service within communities devoted to healing, peer support, spiritual exploration, and end-of-life care.

Training supports what I do. Relationship, humility, and presence remain at its center.

If you are navigating change, seeking greater coherence, or trying to bring something meaningful forward, you do not need to have the whole path figured out. We can begin with a conversation.
